Description: CARDBOARD LP PADS This listing is for 50 of our 12 7/16" x 12 7/16" cardboard LP pads. These are specifically sized to hang enough over a record to provide extra protection uncase it gets dinged on the corner after you put it in your cardboard record mailer. We've been shipping LPs for 40+ years - 12 7/16" is the absolute perfect size for this - 12 1/4" is just too small and doesn't provide enough protection for the edges of the record. When you ship records you put one of these above, and one below the records (so you need 2 per record). They are slightly bigger so protect in case during shipment the box gets dropped on a corner or somehow smushed. Also known as "blockers" This is what we use for all of our outgoing vinyl shipments!
