We've seen cardboard, plastic, even cut up credit cards used as neck shims on beautiful vintage guitars! Stop using garbage for neck shims. Commercial neck shims are very expensive. We offer reasonably priced real wood neck shims. We have various assorted dark woods and light woods available. We also have thinner wafer shims at approximately 1/40" available. Finish, color and grain may vary! The auction is for wood neck shims. These shims are made from thin rosewood, walnut, mahogany, maple, spruce, or other assorted real woods. This auction is limited to stock on hand and can be only one or two types of wood based on availability. The photo is just a reference and not an example of what you might receive. It is cut thin and perfect for neck shims. For each single auction purchase the buyer will receive 5 assorted wood neck shims. They are approx. 2 1/4" by 3 1/8" and about 1/16"-1/8" thick. They are intended for a electric guitar neck pockets. They are thin, rough cut (not square) and not perfect. They will need to be trimmed and or neck holes drilled to fit your project.
