Description: 5 Rhyolite Piedmont Stem Arrowheads Spear Points Lancaster County Pa Susquehanna. These were found in the Lower Susquehanna River Valley. They range from 1 15/16 inches to 2 1/16 inches long. Rhyolite was formed by rapidly cooling volcanic lava by eruption that hurled hot magma high into the atmosphere and came down and was deposited in layers which developed into rhyolite. These are gray in color which is mostly what they should be. Native Americans then used this material to make arrowheads and other tools. These are authentic as I purchased them from Marburg Auctions some time ago. They did not say that they were part of a particular person’s collection. As far as provenance, I will be including the paper you see in the last photo.
