Description: INDUSTRIAL CUT-OFFS FIVE (5) pieces 12L14 CARBON STEEL 1/4" (.25) Cold-Finished Rounds 11" This is a Buy-it-Now sale for FIVE (5) pieces 12L14 CARBON STEEL 1/4" (.25) Cold-Finished Rounds 11". Industrial cut-offs. NOTE: 12L14 is NOT rust-resistant: it is cold-rolled steel and starts getting minor surface rust as soon as it's been cleaned of machine oil. This is superficial and will disappear with a turn or two on the lathe. If you're storing it for a while, use your cleaning material of choice and then spray with WD40. NOTE: These are cut-offs: lengths are non-standard. All items shipped will fall as closely within these length parameters as possible: none are shorter, most are a bit longer. Unused cut-offs from an automatic lathe: --Tool marks ARE present on the rounds. --They are NOT de-burred: burrs will be present on the ends. --Surfaces may be scratched. Items have been professionally cleaned so are free of machine oil. Details: * Contains lead, which adds lubrication and makes 12L14 excellent for free machining * 12L14 is particularly good for machining close-tolerance parts. Also for parts involving crimping, bending, or riveting. * 12L14 gives a smooth, machined surface and allows for increased tool life * NOT recommended for welding or case-hardening All lots sold AS-IS with no further guarantees. Please note: if your state charges sales tax, it will be added to your total at time of purchase. The order will ship USPS Priority. [#1173_.75] THIS LISTING SHIPS CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY
