Description: A brown stoneware beehive scratch “5” jug. Possibly unsigned Red Wing. Approx 17 3/8” tall and 11” at base. Chip at the spout some scratches, nicks, and pops. Large glaze thumb print on jugs shoulder. No cracks. Dug up in Chicago, near Pilsen, in a foundation dig. May have been buried a hundred years. See all pics. Free local pick up available.
