Description: This is a really nice antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from around 1895 or so. Hard to find. It has an enamel crest on the handle. We were always told this is either for Florida, or for St. Augustine, Florida. The spoon is fully goldwashed. No missing or damaged enamel. Light surface wear, not much. It is about 5-3/4" long and heavy for its size. Maker's marks: "Sterling" with the old D for Durgin, a popular American company back then. It is also stamped with the old retailer's name, Greenleaf and Crosby. It weighs about 30.2 grams, over an ounce of sterling silver, a good investment. Engraving: None.
