A 4.25” Cube Planter with matching drip plate in Satin Black glaze. Plant is not for sale. You can plant directly into this stoneware planter or use the planter to dress up a plant potted in a 3.5" round or 3.5” square plastic pot. The outside is 4.25” square, the outside height is 4.25”. The inside dimensions are 3.75” across and 4” high. It will hold about the same amount of media as a 4” square plastic planter. The matching plate is designed to protect your furniture and catch left over drips after watering and draining your plant. The planter you will receive is the same shape, size and glaze color as the images show without a plant and is about 1” larger in size than the planter shown with the orchid. This is a new, unused handcrafted planter from the studio of Marni Turkel. About these planters: The design and glaze were chosen to enhance the beauty of the plant, not to compete with it. There are generous holes in the bottom to provide the excellent drainage that plants need as well as space beneath the bottom of the planter and any surfacer it sits on. It is made of a high-fired stoneware clay that is resistant to chipping and will give years of use. Plants potted in it should be watered on the same schedule as if they were potted in plastic. Unlike terra cotta pots, it is non-porous and will not accumulate salts. It can be sterilized between plants with a chlorox solution or in the oven (avoid rapid, extreme changes in temperature). Glaze color is Satin Black: A satiny, semi-mat black glaze, like a polished black river stone.
