Description: Made in the USA, Genuine Sorbothane formula, Genuine 3M high quality adhesive. Great for your HiFi audio / video equipment or other vibration isolation need. These are 1.5in(38mm) diameter disc .25in(6mm) high but squish down some under weight. They are tapered and are slightly less than 1in at bottom. They can be cut with scissors into smaller or different shapes. You will receive 4 feet in a plastic bag. These have a firm 70 durometer density we also sell them in 50D soft, see store. A set of 4 is good for items that are up to 200lbs (90 Kg)., perfect for larger items like motors, amps, speakers, computer cases,etc. We also carry other sizes and shapes. These are genuine Sorbothane self adhesive vibration isolation feet. Sorbothane is a proprietary visco-elastic polymer which is a very effective acoustic damper and absorber. With a very high damping coefficient it combines shock absorption, good memory, vibration isolation and vibration damping characteristics. While many other materials exhibit one of these characteristics, Sorbothane combines all of them in a stable material with a long fatigue life over a very wide temperature range. This material may feel a bit sticky from its high plasticizer content. Most finishes are completely unaffected but plasticizers can migrate into some paints, varnish or wood. Most people don't use anything, but a small piece of felt or plastic can prevent any possible problems. A couple of our products include a felt bottom and we also sell felt dots in our store. It's not easy for us to suggest what will work best for your application, picking the density and form may take some experimentation.
