Description: Four matched plates, probably blown as weight per plate varies (average 14 oz.), and size of each plate is 8 7/8 inches. That measurement is important, because 5 plates were purchased, but only 4 match. Eventhough, the 5th plate is the same pattern and fire polished on the bottom, just like the other 4, the plate size is only 8 3/4 inch, and the quality of the glass and workmanship is not nearly as good. Possibly 2 different glass companies, or same glass company, different era? I like to refer to the pattern as a daisy, as middle of plate is plain, unlike most other uranium patterns. The center of each is about 4 1/4 inch, fire polished on edge, so you might say these plates are footed, as the edge of the plate elevates 3/4 inches above the table. Light scratching from wear, as appears to be very hard glass or crystal. there are no chips or cracks on any plate. I don't know how these plates were used during a meal, but if they were mine, I would use them for a salad, not a dinner plate. Please inspect photos to determine condition. Photos 8 & 9 are face down on the plates.
