ALL are welded to a 3 x 3 plate with 4- 3/8" holes for anchoring. THIS IS FOR LEGS/POSTS THAT ARE 1 " x 1" Hollow tube railings.This has a 3x3 plate attached to bottom.Measures 6" and 8" on the 1 " square with one piece of square stock welded in place. IT DOES NOT COME OUTHeavy duty and sturdy. Square stock sticks out from the square tube additional 5". Cut off bad leg from bottom of rail. slide this extension into the old leg with epoxy or strong bonding material. slide all the way up. Drill 2 holes on the existing rail leg into the square stock inside and use 2 pop rivets. 3x3 plate has 4 (3/8") holes to bolt in and you are done!! Make great extension legs also!
