Description: Lovely 4 piece sterling silver tea set, by Howard Co of New York. All the pieces are marked Sterling and 1898. The teapot, sugar, and creamer are marked 755, while the caddy is marked 318. All 4 feature the Pack-Beresford family crest and motto- Nil Nisi Cruce. All the pieces have scratches and marks from age, use, and storage. There are some small dents- several on the teapot and at least 1 on the creamer. Nothing is jumping out at me on the other 2, but I may be missing some. The knob on the teapot is a bit loose and the wood appears a bit dry, which tends to happen here in Colorado. Its spout is also a bit misshapenat the tip. On my postal scale, which may be off by a few grams, the set weighs 22 oz, or 624 grams.
