Description: For sale is a wonderful circa 1940 Faber Bros Krome Kraft coffee service. Featuring gorgeous butterscotch Bakelite handles and shiny chrome plating, the set is elegant and utilitarian. The urn stands 13" tall with the lid, and is 10" wide from handle to handle. Beautiful, elegant Bakelite handles, and three Bakelite peg feet. The urn does not have the inner percolator mechanisms (basket, tube, lid, etc) and there is no electrical plug, however it holds beverages perfectly, has an easy and secure on/off spigot, and can be used as a wonderful server or coffee urn. The matching handled tray measures 19" x 11 1/2", and is in good condition, with some wear to the plating and some staining, as shown. It is marked Krome-Kraft, Farber Bros, New York, NY. The lidded sugar bowl has a pegged butterscotch Bakelite finial, and stands approximately 4 1/2" tall. Great condition. No dents or nicks and appears very, very gently used. The matching chrome creamer has a straight Bakelite handle, and measures 5" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Both are well marked Krome-Kraft, Farber Bros, New York, NY.
