You can use the lace on the outside of the pendant to put your chain through or use a Jump Ring (which I have 3 Colors and 2 Sizes of) and you can always add a pin on the back if you desire a brooch. These 40x30mm settings are really gorgeous, with a big lace pattern all around it. You can use these Horizontal or Vertical. Since they are a solid back, you could go down in size a little if you had an odd size cameo or cabochon to try and fit. These have never been used. You will not be disappointed in the quality, it is excellent and if I was setting Cameos, Cabochons, glass, or whatever, I would use these.
