A 3.0mm offset tungsten head and a slick UV finish cuts down drag, allowing the fly to drop through the water column faster than other nymphs of the same weight and size. Offset head makes the hook ride point up, reducing snags. A must for fishing swift water or deep holes. It makes a great anchor fly for European nymphing techniques. Barbless extra wide gap stout hooks make it great for those highly regulated waters, no mashing down barbs. I have been tying flies for over 30 years now.
