The difficulty depends on the material you have to cut through. If your house has a brick or stone facade, it's to incorporate the vent into an existing opening, such as a foundation vent. Consult a builder if you aren't sure how to proceed. 2. Draw the outline of the extension pipe of the wall vent on the siding and cut around the outline with a reciprocating saw. Check the other side of the wall for any wires or pipes first. 3. Slide the extension pipe through the hole.
