GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC AND AS DESCRIBED OR YOUR MONEY BACK! Today we are pleased to offer for sale a beautiful set of 4 antique Fischer & Mieg serving bowls in two styles and sizes! Created in Pirkenhammer, Germany, in the 19th century, these Fischer & Mieg plates are the perfect addition to any tablescape. This lot is for two large pedestal soup tureens with handles, and two large pedestal serving bowls with no handles, for a total of four pieces. Each features a round pedestal base, gently scalloped edges, and light and dark pink hand painted stripes on the edges and around the center. Bowls are stamped "F&M" on the underside, dating these pieces t 1853 - 1873. The stamps are very faint on two of the pieces, but can still be felt, and are visible at the right angle. Bowls are offered in as-found antique condition, with patina, scuffs and paint loss commensurate with age, use and storage. Roughness to edges may be present. The pedestal bowls with no handles each have a hairline crack; one also has a small chip on its rim. One of the handled pedestal bowls also has some hairline cracks.
