Description: 3U RACK MOUNT custom made for the Icom ID-5100 with speaker, microphone clip and an optional 20 amp power supply! NovexComm - 1(310) 534-4456 M-F 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Pacific Time This rack mount is 3 rack units (5.25 inches, 13.3 cm) tall by the standard 19 inches wide. It is custom made to fit the ID-5100 radio and comes with our custom recessed control-head mounting brackets, a front-panel-mounted RJ-45 microphone jack extension and a large front-firing speaker. We can also supply it in 23 inches or any custom wider size. You can order an optional 20 Amp power supply that comes pre-mounted to the tray complete with a line cord and strain relief (see the pictures) for only $85 more. The optional 30 Amp power supply is field-switchable between 110-220 volts so it works just fine on worldwide power sources. Our optional custom corner brackets connect the rack panel to the rack shelf or tray - they make the panel and tray into one unit for $15 extra (see the photos). We recess the IC-5100 head with our custom bracketing, and we extend the RJ-45 microphone jack to the front panel. This rack mount comes with a speaker mounted through the panel next to the radio. Our speakers are brand new (no surplus here!), 8 ohms, can handle up to 5 watts of audio (more audio than most radios) and has a Mylar cone that will last a long time even in the worst environments (like shipboard marine). We use the same speaker that MFJ calls the model 281 "Clear Voice" speaker - they have a full rich tone that works great on SSB, CW signals as well as AM Short-wave and FM programming.
