Description: Extremely rare set of professional 16mm & 35mm assessment tools. These tools are typically used by archivists and film restoration specialists. This is one of two such sets I was able to obtain from Russia before the war in Ukraine made it impossible to source these type of things. I already sold one of the sets, so this is the last one available. This set includes a special loupe to examine perforation deviation, long metal strips showing accurate perfs for 35mm/16mm comparison (note: 35mm filmstrip does show some signs of use/buckling), dual sided shrinkage gauge, slide rule calculator, 16mm roller flanges, as well as some additional tools and gauges I am not familiar with. This entire set was made in the USSR and most items are in almost like new condition with some items in original wrappers. (Again, I did note a small area of damage on the 35mm metal strip --these are somewhat fragile). No instructions provided fyi. Extremely hard to find set that will provide a lot of service.
