From the brochure: "The exquisite bridal gown worn by H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth at her wedding is the inspiration for the Queen Anne fine English Bone China pattern 'Royal Bridal Gown'. In the deep band of the embroidery is combined the elegance of small pink ribbon bows and the brilliance of sparkling diamonds. The floral center depicts orchids which composed the Royal Bouquet. These were grown and perfected in the beautiful garden of Lord Aberconway for a period of seven years in anticipation of The Royal Wedding."Purchased by Mrs. Thomas of Richmond Beach, Washington and has been with the family since 1949.
