The background color is black and the design is coated with a darker gold color finish. The design has subtle facets, so the buttons have a sparkly quality to them. They have a special or magical appearance, and they are very special buttons. The back side has a shank for beading or sewing. These buttons were individually hand made in the Czech Republic sometime around the mid 1990s.
