Description: Three Inch Round Bicron BC412 Premium Plastic Scintillator Material Hundreds sold! 3" X 2-1/4" Pre-Cut Round with Polished Faces Bicron BC412 Scintillator Plastic. This material is a Premium Plastic Scintillator Material tested and guaranteed to work for radiation detection when coupled to a PMT and built into a probe. This is the same material I use when building my own detectors. The cutting and polishing of this plastic can be very difficult and costly without the proper knowhow and equipment. Unless you’re going to build dozens of probes, buying a round precut piece from me is much cheaper (and easier) than trying cut and shape it yourself. The item comes with instructions for use with photomultipliers and building your own detector. Your Plastic Scintillator comes complete with instructions for use and how to use it to build your own scintillator detector.
