Manufacturer was Star Bonifacio Echeverria y CIA of Eibar, Kingdom of Spain. Construction is entirely steel: one piece folded steel body, steel floorplate, steel cartridge follower, and steel one piece spring. Right slide is slotted for round count. Finish is tig welded smooth milled back, brushed surface blued steel, and matte chrome cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 9 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition. These magazines will only fit .38 ACP Caliber or 9mm Luger caliber, or 9mm Largo caliber Star model BS, Star model Super B, or Star model B without any slot in the grip frame, all of them pistols manufactured by Star Echeverria in Spain.
