Description: A superb quality and extremely rare set of 3 Sampson Mordan Victorian Silver gilt and cut glass perfume bottles from 1845 - 1860. Each bottle lid is made of a rapousse design Silver Gilt, bearing an engraved cartouche on top. Each silver lid is hinged, and there is a crystal stopper on each bottle. Each silver gilt lid is marked with "S.MORDAN & CO MAKERS", with one lid showing clear marks, but it's very dim on the other 2 lids. This mark was used on their products made between 1845 and 1860s. MAKER: Sampson Mordan & Co MEDIUM: Victorian Silver and Glass YEAR: 1845 - 1860 CONDITION: In good condition with no damage or repair to either bottles or silver lids.
