From sepia postcards of the 1930s and early '40s to Albertypes to Artvues to the various yellow postcard issuers to the 1950s Callahan cards to the metallic plaque renditions of the '80s, card enthusiasts have been well supplied with quality HoF collectibles. This card ranks among the nicest. Individually Numbered ~ Large Format The popular Goodwin & Company cabinet cards were selected as the format for this 2001 colorized (by R. Ball) limited edition. Card size is 5" by 7" - perfectly suited to standard 2-pocket collector sheets. "National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum Cooperstown, New York" is imprinted upon card (front and back) while the back carries the player's name, a brief biography, copyright 2001 RBall, individual numbering (of 2,000) and a hoped-for promise: Series 1 - 4 of 10. (Unfortunately, to our knowledge, there was no succeeding series.) Cards of this size fit well in standard 2-pocket collector sheets designed specifically for 5" by 7" photographs. About the scans: Scans 1 and 2 - the card being offered for sale. Scan 3 - a factory-sealed set with checklist. To reiterate: the individual card offered is shown in scans 1 and 2.
