3 Antique Vintage Wood Shaft Kroydon Clubs

Description: This item is 3 antique vintage right-handed clubs. Included are a 38 1/4" 26* Loft C 3 swingweight Mid Iron, a 36" Spade 45* C 4 and a 36" Niblick 50* C 5. All appear to be as made. All three were made by Kroydon. The plated heads are clean and not all rusted. They do have the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shafts are all the old apparently original hickories. One has a bend (mid iron). They are straight and do have some play at the hosel. Always re-set heads prior to play. crack free. All 3 have their original grips that are in poor vintage condition. One butt cap is missing. Great for display or perhaps play if you do the necessary work on them. If you are considering playing with this club all wooden shafted irons should be re-set prior to play. While I see no issues with the shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 5-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge.
