Description: I’m hesitantly considering selling a pair of nice but used fostex fx200 8” full range drivers. **These are listed at a very high “buy it now” price due to their rarity, and likewise difficulty in finding again… I will entertain decent offers, however if accepted please be prepared to pay!! These structurally look perfect. Cones are nice. Aluminum domes are round. Frames are nice. Surrounds are pliable. Wire spring connectors work fine. There are some small marks or stains so please look closely at pictures. One aluminum dome has a small dot that is most noticeable but it is not dented. The brushed Aluminum frame has a few small marks on the edges. Mounting holes are clean but they were mounted so there are signs of minimal scratching. Boxes are nice but not perfect. One has spec sheet! I had these mounted in Sansui sp-50 cabinets which are about 25 liters with a port, what fostex suggests for this driver. They were driven by a Bryston amp, Yamaha pre, and they sounded great - for a small full range driver… obviously not as full or deep as the jbl 4350’s or 4343’s, but they held their own for a couple days softening up. There are many DIY cabinet designs that could make these sound even better. Perfect for an apartment, rental, low space type use, which is why I can consider letting them go, I’ve got space currently for a lot of large speakers!! These will either be shipped together in a larger box, or individually in 2 usps large flat rate boxes. Shipping $60 Please inspect pictures for condition.
