They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. This is a fabulous and beautiful button. The mold reveals a lot of fine detail. They have a wonderful luminous quality and the revrse paint really gives the buttons a luminous look. Each measures approx. 27mm (1 1/16") wide and has a metal loop shank. These are crystal and are reverse painted in a glowing blue/purple vitrail AB mirror back enamel finish. There are also white and bright gold enamel details on the front. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!!
