Description: Offered here is a very fine ANTIQUE GEM SIZE TINTYPE PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM CONTAINING 27 ORIGINAL ANTIQUE GEM TINTYPES. The miniature photo album's front page reads: "CAMBRIDGE ALBUM, REMICK & RICE" and on the reverse side it reads: "ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS, IN THE YEAR 1867, BY REMICK & RICE, TO THE CLERK'S OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE DISTRICT OF MASSACHUSETTS". The photo album is in very good condition with a fine tooled leather binding and brass clip to hold it closed. There are 13 pages in the album, each holding four images on each side of a page (8 imaged per page, front and back). Accordingly, the album will hold 104 gem size tintypes. All the pages are attached to the spine and they are almost all in excellent condition.
