25 Genuine Ozelot Sword Plant SEEDS & Instruction

Description: Up for your consideration is this lot of 25 Echinodorus Ozelot Swordplant seeds with growing instructions. This is a broad leaf melon type sword variety that has beautiful spotted leaves. A new 2023 addition to the other aquatic seed varieties that I sell here on eBay. This is a rare opportunity to grow a very beautiful spotted leaf variety of sword plant from seed. I know of no other source... anywhere... to obtain Echinodorus seeds like these. These are genuine Echinodorus seeds and were grown and harvested by me in my hobby greenhouse here in Illinois. As far as aquatic plant seeds go in general they are moderately easy to germinate and grow. In general, it does help to have previous experience germinating seeds and growing small seedlings. They are not as easy to grow as tomatoes but are not that much more difficult either. The seeds do benefit from a 4 week long cold/moist period in the refrigerator (known as stratification) although this is not absolutely necessary to get some germination. This is explained in detail in the included instructions. They also should be grown in emersed conditions at first (roots in moist soil, leaves in the air) and then transferred to an aquarium later if you wish or they can be grown emersed in a terrarium or paludarium. The close up photographs that are in this listing are of emersed growing plants. They are slow growing at first. Echinodorus seeds like these to not have a very high germination percentage so don't expect higher than about a 25% germination rate. The photographs of the adult plants are for illustration only and show what the adult plants will look like in an aquarium... the adult plants are not included. You will receive 25 genuine Echinodurus Ozelot Swordplant seeds and detailed growing instructions with each order. Orders for three or less seed packets will be shipped in a regular stamped envelope with no tracking. I ship them this way to keep the costs down for you. I will ship orders for 4 or more total packages of seeds in a USPS First Class package with tracking... so if you want tracking please order 4 or more packets of seeds (they can be the same or different varieties). If you don't agree with this please do not purchase the seeds. I will also cancel all orders to a re-shipper. They do not function well with stamped envelopes. Thank you for understanding.
