Description: This is a very pretty, substantial doll with perfect bisque head, mounted on a leather body with articulated, composition arms. She has sleepy blue glass eyes, and her head has been stuffed for shipping and display. If you insist on having your doll's eyes working again, simply loosen the pate under her wig and, with long tweezers, pick out the paper toweling. We put the pates on with hot glue, so they are easy to peel back, and if you keep pressure on the front of the doll's head, you shouldn't have to reglue the entire wig. This doll was distributed by Columbia and probably manufactured by Armand Marseille, she does have the Columbia stamp. She has a new, auburn human hair wig that has loose curls on the ends that are very pretty. The doll is wearing a vintage red, orange, white, and brown calico dress that is trimmed with white eyelet lace trim. The lace is featured across the raised bodice and on the edges of her sleeves. The center of the dress's bodice has a cute white ribbon bow and a white stand up collar. Finally, the dress snaps up the back to close. Beneath, she is wearing white pantalettes and brown stockings. If you have been following some of my other listings, you will know my half-grown, Bernese Mountain Monster, Cooper, spent one night totally destroying my stash of antique, vintage, and new doll shoes, over 200 pairs! This, after we spent $170 on dog toys and chews. Apparently, doll chews taste better. ANYWAY, rather than not posting dolls, we are posting them without shoes, and with a price about $10 less than we normally would. Slowly, we will re-stock a supply of doll shoes, that will all be sprayed with bitter apple, so they will be anti-Cooper. The dope. I keep telling him that cute dog faces will not get him very far in THIS house!! Finally, this doll wears a vintage straw hat that is decorated with red, white, off-white flowers, and greenery, that is affixed on her head with an antique hatpin with a "pearl" head. Please pay for the doll of your choice within 24 hours. Do give us a shout out if this timeline does not fit you, so we can plan for it. We do have a short layaway plan: 6 weeks: One third down, then one third every three weeks, two times over the next six weeks. Simple. No refunds if you fail to keep up the payments. Sorry, we have been burned repeatedly. We use Priority Mail only. Insurance is required on all sales $100+. Please plan accordingly.
