Description: Very Good condition leather hardcover copy of A System of Natural Philosophy by J. L. Comstock. Illustrated in black and white throughout. Features smooth tan full calf leather binding and black title plate with gold foil lettering to spine. Stated 213th Edition, published 1858 by Pratt, Oakley & Company, New York. Binding is sound and pages are generally unmarked, with the exception of previous owner's name and doodles in pencil on first blank pages (dated 1860), ~1" chip to first free endpaper near gutter, very minor very occasional fox marks, and minor toning to extremities of endpapers. Boards are clean and square with ~1cm seam split to front head hinge and minor rubbing to extremities and spine. Please see photos for condition detail. L-1264
