Description: This listing is for one 21" Jim Morrison Hand Beaded Necklace in the Green/White/Black pattern. About Our Jim Morrison Bead Necklaces: Our necklaces are hand crafted in the same pattern as Jim's young lion photos. Each hand made necklace has a silver barrel clasp with a strong nylon cord and is crafted with the highest quality Preciosa Czechoslovakian seed beads. The pattern and colors we use for our Jim Morrison's bead necklaces comes straight from the man who made Jim Morrison's own love beads! In 1993 The Doors Collectors Magazine interviewed Henry Diltz (Morrison Hotel album cover photographer and the man who made Morrison that famous necklace) For the first time ever he revealed what the exact bead pattern and colors were for the beads he hand crafted for Morrison right before the two infamous photo sessions by Gloria Stavers and 'the Young Lion photo shoot' by Joel Brodsky. The Henry Diltz interview can be found in the 1993 issue of The Doors Collectors Magazine #2 - Google it! Our Green/White beads are hand made, authentic and exact replicas of these same beads that Henry described to us. We use the same size of Czechoslovakian seed beads and the exact same colors in the same pattern. The only difference between those original beads and this pair, is that ours have a silver barrel clasp which is a huge improvement over those without, and this pair is made shorter than the originals. We offer three different color combinations in two different sizes: Green/White: same colors and pattern as the original beads made for Morrison by Diltz. Red/White: these are the colors that Elektra airbrushed in on the 'Best of' album color to add pop to the photo! These were also worn by Val Kilmer in the 1991 Oliver Stone movie. Turquoise/White: Our own hippy creation of colors which has been a popular choice these past many years!
