Description: Old-time Movie Star ♥ Personality Beautiful and hard to find, large 21" tall, teenage, singing star* ♫ of radio and movies, (Universal Pictures) personality, "Deanna Durbin", portrait doll, circa 1938, by Ideal with beautiful composition and coloring, distinctive, lady-like features including sleep, brown eyes, perfect sable hair eyelashes as well as painted lower lashes, eyebrows, smoky eye shadow, excellent blush to her cheeks and knees, an open mouth with row of teeth and tongue, original long, medium brown human hair wig in perfect, original set and slender (teenage) style body with a swivel head and joints at her shoulders and hips. She is wearing her original clothing, (as she wore in her Universal Pictures, movie "Hers To Hold") a fabulous white organdy gown with blue & white plaid printed bodice, puff sleeves, waist ribbon, bow and ruffled hem. It has a very full skirt with fitted bodice and puff sleeves and matching organdy petticoat and organdy panties. She also wears her original, silver leatherette shoes with center snaps and socks and is signed under wig on the back of her head: Deanna Durbin/Ideal Doll and across her shoulders: Ideal Doll 21. What a breath-taking example of this celebrity doll. She is in excellent condition with no lifting or flaking of paint surface, no body cracks or chips, no repairs, no stains or fading to clothing and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. She has not had any restoration and retains excellent coloring and blush with just a few, very faint paint craze lines, no missing eyelashes, no hair trim.Our largest size (24") just listed, Deanna Durbin doll in last photos is NOT included and listed separately.Included with her is the MGA recorded, original soundtrack music ♫ ♪ of her singing from six of her staring rolls in Universal Picture's movies,* cprt. 1971, with her photo on the cover, which makes a nice item to frame or display with the doll. The record and jacket are in perfect condition.
