This limited run Made in Japan Jazzmaster features a shorter 24” scale length, a fractionally scaled-down body finished in satin Daphne Blue, and a streamlined control array in-line with the American Professional models. Featherweight at 6lbs 5oz, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard. The newly-designed "Junior Collection Modified" single coil pickups deliver classic Jazzmaster tones: the bridge pickup offers a clear sparkle and bite, while the neck pickup has more inherent warmth and bell-like top end. This Junior Collection Jazzmaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
