Description: Up for sale, a 2022 Fender Vintage Reissue II '61 Stratocaster in Olympic White. This guitar has a few minor cosmetic flaws but appears barely played. The neck is pretty near mint with no issues I'm seeing. The body has some scratching to the side of the bridge (pictured), also there is some minor oxidation on the bridge hardware and input jack plate. I've not attempted to clean it. If you get the lighting situated right, you can see what look like lines or cracks in the finish coating (see pic 4 - I put the glare from my light right on the spot). These are on the front and back around the input jack screws. It appears that when Fender tightened the screws to the input plate it may have stress cracked the finish. I can't imagine this happening with normal play and handling but I suppose anything is possible. Looks like the checking you might get from an OLD guitar so appears a little weird for something this new. Anyhow, I don't expect it will be that bothersome as you've got to get your lighting right to observe the flaws. You can feel them with your fingernail if you run it over the area. Oh yea, also the center control knob is a little wobbly/wonky. (??? - not sure why - it probably took a little bump) Guitar sounds great and has no playability issues that I can find. Plug and play. Comes with the original case and paperwork. I see a small scuff on one of the case edges, otherwise it's clean. See pics. Guitar weighs 8lb 1 oz. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
