Each coin contains one ounce of .999 fine silver.Each coin also bears the "W" mint mark reflecting its striking at the United States Mint facility at West Point. As genuine legal tender, they are the only silver coins whose weight and purity are guaranteed by the United States Government. Each coin contains a minimum of one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver.
