2016 SAILOR 105TH ANNIVERSARY ZUISEI EBONITE 21K NIB LE FOUNTAIN PEN NEVER INKED

Description: For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked 2016 Sailor Limited Edition 301/500 ZuiSei Ebonite 105th Anniversary Fountain Pen fitted with a 21K Hard Medium (H-M) Gold Nib. This Fountain Pen has never been inked and I consider it in Mint, New Old Stock Condition. Sailor was founded in the port of Kure near Hiroshima in 1911. To celebrate its 105th anniversary, Sailor released this Limited Edition "ZuiSei" a clipless pentagonal shape fountain pen crafted in a blue-black ebonite with 21 kt gold nib decorated with a special ‘105th’ engraving. This Sailor ZuiSei is made of Ebonite in a Blue and Black Woodgrain pattern. The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel via a friction fit. The fountain pen measures 6 3/8" inches in length capped, has a 16.00mm in diameter at the middle of the pen (gold trim ring), and weighs 1.48 ounces. The Nib is a 21K gold and marked, "105th, Sailor Anchor logo, 21K, 875, Sailor". Stamped on the shoulder of the NIB are the letters, "H-B" for a Hard Medium nib point. The actual tipping measures .66mm when measured with digital calipers. This fountain pen has never been inked and I wanted to keep it this way for the new owner. The end of the barrel is stamped with the limited edition number 301/500 and Sailor Japan. The Sailor uses an ink converter to fill the pen. I have tested it with water and it works as it was designed. This Sailor comes with the original 105th Anniversary wooden box and all the Sailor Literature. The box is in mint condition, like the pen. The Sailor Zuisei is without a doubt a beautiful pen. The oversize pentagonal design and gorgeous ebonite material make this a great limited edition.
