Second: Depending on the color of the part, we will use a colored waterborne flexible primer sealer that closely matches the color of your car. Third: After the primer sealer has dried, we then apply basecoat and clearcoat that perfectly matches your vehicle. If you were to purchase the part unpainted and bring to ANY bodyshop they are going to charge you roughly $85 to $150 depending on the color to paint this part. It takes just as long to paint a small part as it does a larger part. The setup time, and paint times in the spray booth are the same. We sell these parts directly to Ford Dealers and service shops who upsell for around $150. By purchasing from us you are getting them at 50% discount. This is why we sell so many!
