The glaze is white with a red "antiquing" that highlights all the details. This mug also comes in a white & blue glaze. Premiered August 17th, 2011 at Tiki Farm's Warehouse Sale. The Happy Cannibal is inspired by a Jack London 1912 collection of short stories, "A Son of the Sun" and represents a whimsical take on Mr. London's cannibals featured in his book.” These are limited edition mugs. Only 500 were created of each color. You will receive one of each. The item has never been used for its purpose. (See photos for details) I am the original owner.
