It is perfectly fitting that this kit was worn by the likes of Manuel Neuer, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Özil, Miroslav Klose, Thomas Mueller, Philipp Lahm, Toni Kroos and the rest of Germany’s golden generation! This Germany kit is especially noteworthy as it features a unique national team badge – the DFB crest and 3 stars set in gold on a black shield – that was used exclusively from 2009 to 2011, and was worn only once at a major tournament. The 2010 World Cup was a fantastic tournament for Germany! They demolished England (4-1) and Argentina (4-0) in the Round of 16 and the Quarterfinals. They also beat Uruguay in the third place game in what was widely touted as the match of the tournament. Germany came back from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2! Klose, Müller, Lahm and Neuer all had brilliant performances, with the latter three being named to the All Star team of the tournament. This soccer jersey is in great condition with the exception of minor peeling to the DFB print on the back of the collar, fading of the sizing information, and a tiny pinhole at the center of the front side.
