Description: 2006 Fender Custom FMT HH Telecaster Set Neck Guitar in VG Condition 2006 Fender Custom Deluxe FMT (flame maple top) HH (two Humbucking pickups) Telecaster Guitar with Set Neck in VG Condition Used in Very-Good condition with shiny paint, well played with some light rust on the bridge saddle screws and input jack plate screws. There are some pick scratches and a few small knocks in the finish that don't photograph well. It's loaded with a new set of 10-42 strings and the intonation is pretty good, very playable. The 6th string is missing the little spring on the bridge mechanism so that it could be adjusted fully back. This is a Telecaster made in Korea. Per the Fender website, the serial number suggests it was built in 2006. It's unique because it's not a bolt-on neck, it's a set-neck that appears as if the neck and body are one piece -- they're actually two separate pieces that are milled and glued together. This makes the guitar resonate and sustain a bit better than a bolt-on telecaster. The set of two humbucking pickups are great for high-gain and make the guitar sound more like a Gibson SG type guitar. You can still get an excellent standard telecaster rock/blues/country tone by pulling out on the tone knob, this coil tap control turns the pickups into single-coil for a standard telecaster twang. The body is "carved" which just means it has a bit of contour to it, not completely flat like a classic Telecaster. I got this guitar used in approximately 2007. I ended up getting four of them actually! Only needing two at this stage, so I'm setting two of them free!
