2002 "GUNDY" Limited Edition GUND BLUE TEDDY COLLECTOR'S BEAR 9" w/ Original Box

Description: 2002 ** GUND **~* LIMITED EDITION *~**~ "GUNDY" BLUE TEDDY BEAR ~**** COLLECTOR'S EDITION **** 9" Teddy Bear w/ Original Box **_______________________________ SIZE: The measurements for this teddy bear is as follows: Approximately 9" height; 6" width (measured arm to arm for width) DESCRIPTION: This auction features a 2002 GUND Teddy Bear. Teddy's name is noted as "Gundy" on the back of the box and he bears a soft light blue fur and black eyes. The box also notes that he's a Collector's Edition and a Limited Edition, as well. Although the box has been opened, Gundy is still connected on the inside of the box structure and has not been played with. I believe that 2002 was the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear. As such, many companies were doing commemorative editions like this to mark the anniversary. Either way, Gundy is definitely a sweet little bear -- and would make a wonderful addition to any teddy bear collection, or even for a 21st birthday this year! As he has been protected in his box for the last 20+ years, Gundy is doing pretty well. The box itself, though, does have some storage wear. Please do view the pictures as a part of the overall description, as I do feel they are an essential part of the item description. CONDITION: Box = FAIR & Bear = Fair Plus ~ I am considering the age and use of this item when factoring the condition rating. Gundy appears to be in Fair condition for the age and use. It actually appears to be the BOX that shows any kind of age wear. Gundy is still attached on the inside and looks to be doing pretty well. That said, I do understand that collectors do consider the entire presentation -- box included. As such, please do keep in mind that the BOX DOES SHOW age and storage wear. The box is definitely NOT mint at all. Aside from this, though, Gundy Bear appears to be doing fairly well. He has not been played with and is still attached on the inside of the box structure. He is very soft, as well. He may need a very gentle dusting but other than that he's doing ok. Ultimately, aside from what's mentioned above concerning box itself, I do not see any other major issues. With age and use considered, I would still say Winslow the Teddy Bear would be considered in Fair condition for the age and use of it.
