Description: 2001 Ibanez BTB405QM quilted maple top 5 string bass with soft case gig bag.S/N W412453: April 2001 production This is one of my personal guitars purchased new sometime during the fall/winter of 2001 and used regularly/semi regularly until 2012. Overall this bass is in excellent condition for its age and maintained by Erics Guitar Shop in Van Nuys, Ca. up until a few years back when I stopped playing it. Without a doubt, this was one of the most versatile bass guitars I have owned with it's deep bass and infinite tone possibilities with its sweepable midrange controls. -Translucent finish is glossy with few scratches and scuff marks. There is some minor chipping near the input jack and edges of the headstock paint - Fret buzz on the second/third fret of the G string... 😐 Nothing major. Just in need of a tune-up - Pickups are in excellent shape and noise free - 2018 Service: First 3 frets replaced, smoothed uneven fret wear followed by deoxidation. Replaced string nut and truss rod adjustment cover. Truss/neck adjustment. Cleaning and conditioning of fretboard. Set up for string gauge .045 -.130 (A440 B-G tuning. Gauge used for drop A and D when required or any other temporary adjustments in tuning). - Hardware finish is pitting slightly on the bridge rails and control knobs - Installed brand new Ibanez factory replacement active eq assembly (part# 3EQ1VM311) - Upgraded tuning machine head set to MIJ BTB Prestige series by Gotoh (part# 2MH1G7023S) - Neutrik input jack installed along with active EQ -Replaced (5) original corroded neck bolts with factory replacement bolts -Gig bag is included ***I am not able to ship this bass guitar to Alaska and Hawaii due to size of package***
