2000's era Shure 55SH dynamic cardioid microphone Low Z Elvis w cable 55S 55

You are looking at a classic 2000 era model Shure Brothers 55SH dynamic cardioid microphone set at low impedance with a smooth warm tone making this one of the best dynamic cardioid mics of it's time and it still sounds incredible even today. The mic comes with the long cable in which to operate. This newer example is an absolute gem and I would rate it as excellent condition showing almost no wear. It was very gently used over the years. This particular model came with the grey / black foam screens, rectangular silver Shure badge and practical on / off switch. When Shure finally started selling the "Super 55" again in the early 2000's it had a completely different element from the original Shure 55S model with slightly stronger output but the overall design was the same as the 55SH. When Shure Brothers sold the 55SH it was slightly improved from the previous 55S & 55SW model which still incorporated the old 3 pin screw on type cable which had outlived it's use and wasn't very practical. The newer 55SH finally had the modern XLR attachment. The 55SH did away with the impedance switch as well. This legendary 55 series microphone was used by many famous artists and politicians over the years including Elvis Presley and even the young revolutionary Fidel Castro. Those clean lines and deco styling make this mic stand out from all the others produced over the last century. Again, this is the newer version of that early design. It should be noted that this mic has an excellent working dynamic cardioid element with strong output and works perfectly. Perfect for singing and broadcasting with a100% signal. This mic will not disappoint. The uni-directional characteristics on these mics are outstanding drowning out most background noise. As seen in the pictures provided the the satin chrome shows no cosmetic wear. The finish has a very nice luster too. There are zero bent or fractured ribs on this mic. The Shure label looks very nice as well. Overall this mic is a very conservative 9 + on a scale of 1 - 10. This mic is solid...no loose parts inside or out. The inner element is well secured. This one is good to go. Nice and snug. The threads for the stand are excellent and the joint mechanism holds strong. This 55SH will screw onto any desk or floor stand you wish to use. The mic takes a standard XLR cable and one is provided. The cable is appx 22 feet long making this ideal for stage and studio work. It's soft, pliable and free of damage. It has the quality male and female Cannon XLR end connectors. The XLR pins on this mic were cleaned however ensuring a perfect signal once a cable is attached.
