Description: This is my 2000 Chevrolet 3500 short bus skoolie conversion. I spent eight months building it. I stripped everything on the inside and insulated it with Havelock wool. The wood on the interior was cut at a local sawmill, the cabinets came from a house that was being renovated, and the wood on the ceiling was purchased from Lowe's at a great deal. The floor is also insulated with foam board. There is a holding tank in the back of the bus that supplies water, and an electric pump delivers water directly to the sink. The countertop was made from two massive slabs of cedar, and the yellow chair was found at a thrift store. Please note, there is no shower or toilet on board, nor are there holding tanks for grey water. I only used the water for washing dishes with biodegradable soap. For electricity, I have 200 watts of solar power on the roof connected to a 100Ah lithium battery located below the sink, along with the inverter. The bus is equipped with a backup camera and a TPMS system. It has a 6.5 turbo engine, so I relocated the PMD switch to the bottom of the bumper for easy access and better airflow. The tires are still in good condition, but the brakes need to be changed before any mountain passes or long trips to ensure safety. I lived in this bus for a while and have traveled extensively across the Midwest, up into the Pacific Northwest, and then back down to the Midwest before returning to Georgia. The paint needs a little touch-up, but I have an extra gallon of it for you. The skoolie always catches people's attention and is loved wherever it goes. I only want to sell it because I am moving on to another adventure.
