Description: This is a group of 2 vintage checks from the early 1960s from Dora & David McIlhenny, from the First National City Bank and Chase Manhattan bank branches in Colon. David was an administrator at the Colon Hospital and Dora was a Librarian at the Coco Solo Library in the Canal Zone. One is unused and the other was made out to the Panama Canal Company in 1964 but was crossed out. Both have 5 centesimo Panama revenue stamps on the back, one engraved and one lithographed.
