The city of Seville (Sevilla in Spanish) is the capital of Andalusia in southwestern Spain and has a 2200 year old history. I wish I knew when this set was made, but unfortunately I don't have the history on this ONE OF A KIND set. Excellent condition - hand-carved & handpainted. I do not see any cracks or damage. Hand painted ceramic art pottery candle holder or candle lantern handcrafted with clay and made in Spain, features primitive style floral design and motifs in the colors brown, mustard yellow, cobalt blue, cranberry red, and dark sage green over a neutral cream background. Details include leaf like openings around cylindrical shaped body with a small recessed bowl on a short pedestal in the center to hold a tapered candle.
