They are both in very good condition with no creases or tears. It says on the backs "The Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington. Administered by the Trustees of Amherst College".They both picture the titlepages of the first editions of each book. Romeo and Juliet was in 1597 and The Merchant of Venice was in 1600.
