Description: This vintage pair-A male and Female-- 1950s object dart from Mexico is made by renown Mexican artist Salvador Teran. Beautiful examples of his fine work, these freeform atomic tyle MCM trays features a Mayan couple in glass mosaic tile on hand forged brass. Teran opened up his studio in 1952 in Mexico City, and was known for his tilework, he commonly incorporated abstract and surrealistic human and animal shapes. Trays have wall holder on back -much nicer than pictures show Condition: Typical wear and patina for the era, left in original condtion, measures about 14 1/2" tall and 6 wide.
