🌷2 Sets Fruit or Dessert Bowls & Plates APPLE BLOSSOM by Tirschenreuth Germany

Description: This is a lovely porcelain set of 2 bread and butter plates and 2 dessert/fruit bowls decorated with lovely scattered pink and white apple blossoms. They are smooth edged and are also edged in gold. The back of the plates has the pattern name, APPLE BLOSSOM in red. They also have the green Tirschenreuth backstamp under the glaze, with a red crown and PASCO in red. A similar back stamp began being used in 1903, but this particular one, with the word GERMANY and with the addition of the red crown and PASCO was used between 1938 and 1969. PASCO was the name of the distributor bringing the porcelain to the US. The plates are 6 & 1/8 inches in diameter and the shallow fruit/dessert bowls are about 5 inches in diameter and hold about 1/2 cup. They could be used together, with the plates kind of like a saucer for the bowls. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and with minimal wear to the gold trim. When I hold them at an angle to the light, I see no utensil marks on the glaze. This is a really lovely set with all those delicate apple blossoms Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree view for a closer look.
